A second way I have found helpful in connecting with Jesus is in the act of praise.
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise – the fruit of lips that confess his name. Sometimes it is a sacrifice to offer praise when things are not going the way we would like but: “Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise.” Psalms 48:1
Praise brings Him on the scene of our lives. It is like a smoke signal that we are down here on earth and lifting up our voices in adoration and appreciation for all He is, and for all He has already done both in our lives and in the lives of others.
Let us be faithful to offer up our praises to Him on a regular basis.
