In my last reflection, I was speaking of a fall check up to look at our spiritual journey to see where we may have offended someone or have attitudes towards others that need to be cleared up. This writing is to take a look at Micah 6:8 (amplified version) “he has shown you, oh man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love kindness and mercy, and to walk humbly with your God”.
We can agonize where to put our energies questioning ourselves when we see all the ministry possibilities. Others may call out for help and we can get into areas where we are not called or equipped. It is helpful to use the above scripture and prayer as a checkup.
As we walk through life, it is helpful to ask ourselves, am I dealing justly with others, an I walking humbly with God? Am I kind and merciful? This simplifies a check to be sure we are on God’s agenda.
